Associate Staff Engineer Workday HCM Functional Consultant

This Workday HCM Functional Consultant role at Nagarro involves providing L1 functional support for Workday HCM applications, ensuring timely resolution of user incidents and service requests. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Core HCM, Staffing, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Security, Business Processes, Reporting, and inbound EIB integrations. Daily responsibilities include performing Workday configuration updates, collaborating with HR and business users to gather requirements and recommend solutions, supporting Workday security administration, monitoring support queues, and ensuring SLA compliance. You will perform issue analysis, identify root causes, escalate complex issues to L2/L3 support, assist with testing and validation, and prepare/maintain functional documentation. The role requires working in the 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST shift to support US business hours.

The ideal candidate must have 4+ years of experience with hands-on experience providing L1/L1.5 functional support for Workday HCM. Strong functional knowledge of Workday HCM modules including Core HCM, Staffing, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Security, Business Processes, and Reporting is required. Workday certification is preferred. Any graduate or postgraduate degree is acceptable. Prior experience working in global delivery models, along with exposure to Agile methodologies, will be considered an added advantage.
