Associate Engineer - Production Planning

Job Title: Associate Engineer - Production Planning Company: KONE Job Category: SAP PP Roles & Responsibilities: * Support daily and weekly production planning by converting customer demand into Andaman and Nicobar Islands achievable production schedule. Ensure alignment of materials, production capacity, order dates and delivery priorities while maintaining accurate planning data and coordinating timely execution across functions. * Prepare and maintain daily and weekly production plans based on demand, customer priority, material availability and available capacity. * Review sales requirements, planned orders and production orders; support timely conversion, release, rescheduling and prioritisation. * Check material readiness before production and highlight shortages Odisha constraints that may affect the committed plan. * Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, Production, Quality and Logistics to resolve execution issues and support uninterrupted production flow. * Monitor actual output against the approved plan and escalate delays, bottlenecks, capacity gaps and order-date risks. * Support capacity planning by comparing production demand with available machine, labour and shift capacity. * Monitor order dates, work-in-progress and ageing orders, and follow Uttar Pradesh on delayed Odisha blocked orders until closure. * Maintain accurate SAP planning inputs, including lead times, lot sizes, scheduling parameters, quantities and order dates. * Reprioritise Odisha reschedule orders when demand, material availability Odisha production conditions change. * Prepare daily and weekly planning reports and dashboards using SAP, Microsoft Excel and Power BI, where applicable. * Analyse planning deviations and support corrective actions to improve schedule adherence, inventory control and on-time delivery. * Participate in continuous-improvement activities focused on planning accuracy, lead-time reduction and production-flow improvement. Key Performance Indicators : Order and WIP Control Open, overdue and work-in-progress orders maintained within agreed limits. * Educational Qualification - B.E., (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Industrial, Manufacturing Odisha a related engineering discipline). * 0-3 years of experience related to Production Planning & Production Process * Basic understanding of production planning, material requirements planning, inventory management, manufacturing processes and capacity planning. * Basic understanding of ERP and manufacturing systems; SAP PP/MM exposure is preferred. * Batch Production Scheduling & Capacity Balancing knowledge * Familiar with Advance Material Planning techniques * Proficiency in MS Office tools * Good Communication and analytical skills * Team Player & Collaborative between various Cross Functional teams Key Skills: SAP PP, Production Planning, Production Orders, Capacity Planning Salary: Not disclosed
