ASSISTANT - PRODUCTION MATERIAL PLANNING & CONTROL

Job Title: ASSISTANT - PRODUCTION MATERIAL PLANNING & CONTROL Company: OLYMPIC CABLE COMPANY SDN BHD SAP Module: SAP PP Roles & Responsibilities: * Plan, organize, direct and control production activities to support business goals and objectives KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / MAJOR TASKS * Manage master planning, material processes, and systems to prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. * Plan and execute production and delivery schedules. * Assist in creating and releasing production orders and ensure on-time closing of production orders using SAP System. * Collaborate with cross-functional departments to update demand forecasts. * Prepare weekly operational reports on production performance, highlighting issues and bottlenecks that may impact the production schedule and materials planning. * Review and control production progress, following up with relevant departments to eliminate delays by expediting material shipments. * Work closely with purchasing and warehouse/logistics groups to ensure the on-time receipt and delivery of materials and finished goods shipments. * Monitor and coordinate material shortages, expediting and ensuring material availability to support the production plan. * Analyze, prepare, and submit monthly/quarterly reports on inventory, aging * valuation, order delivery, and service provider performance. * Schedule the supply of materials/components to meet production * requirements and maintain minimum safety stock levels to ensure operational * continuity. * Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate processes for material delivery from * suppliers to the point of fit. * Manage day-to-day order management and delivery schedules. * Support and prepare management report and presentation as and when * necessary. * Any other responsibility assigned by the superior from time to time. * Health insurance * Maternity leave * Opportunities for promotion * Professional development Work Location: In person Work Location: Melaka, Malaysia Availability: Full time

* Minimum Diploma / Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or any related field. * Preferably 1-3 years working experience in planning for high volume production or production planning. * Well verse in English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin (added advantage) * Microsoft Excel (Strong proficiency), Words, PowerPoint & SAP * Able to adapt with fast moving environment * Proactive * Able to work independently * Have a good problem solving skills * Able to work in team Benefits: * Proficiency on SAP and Microsoft Software (Excel , Words , Etc) Education: * Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Required) Experience: Key Skills: Production Planning, Production Orders Salary: MYR 2100 - 2100 per monthly
