Job Title: Assistant Manager Company: IBM Job Category: SAP FICO Roles & Responsibilities: Role \& responsibilities * Manage and oversee end\-to\-end Record to Report (R2R) processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strict adherence to closing timelines. * Review and approve complex journal entries, provisions, intercompany transactions, and high\-risk balance sheet reconciliations. * Lead, mentor, and manage a team of R2R analysts, overseeing performance management and skill development. * Manage the consolidation of financial data across business units and eliminate intercompany balances. * Ensure strict compliance with SOX controls, internal financial policies, and relevant accounting frameworks (US GAAP / IFRS / Ind AS). * Coordinate directly with internal and external auditors, providing complex data, schedules, and explanations. * Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate manual routines, and implement best practices using modern financial tools. * Partner with finance leadership to deliver management information systems (MIS) reporting and performance insights.
