As An Assistant Accountant, You Will Be Responsible For * Upload raw material data from the weighbridge system into SAP * Issue of certain raw materials not on BOMs to cost centres * Timber balancing (Saiccor weighbridge compared to Forests calculations) * Prepare weekly raw materials usage reports for relevant stakeholders * Forward weighbridge reports on waste/raw materials as required * Manage petty cash * Participate in Raw Materials and Finished goods stock counts * Prepare monthly General Ledger, Customer and Vendor Reconciliations * Reconciliation and confirmation of foreign inter\-company balances * Prepare tax pack schedules for the Tax department * Assist with capex\-related transactions What’s in it for you? * Opportunity to work within a global organisation that continues to thrive in a rapidly changing world even after 80 years of existence * Learning and development programmes to fast\-track your career within Sappi * Opportunities to travel (dependent on the role) * Market\-leading leave benefits * Employee wellbeing benefits Work Location: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa Availability: Full time
