Job Title: Application Support Engineer Company: Accenture in India Job Category: SAP BASIS Roles & Responsibilities: Project Role : Application Support Engineer Project Role Description : Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. As an Application Tech Support Practitioner, you will act as the ongoing interface between the client and the SAP BASIS Administration system. You will be dedicated to quality and use exceptional communication skills to ensure the smooth operation of our world\-class systems. Your role will involve accurately defining client issues and designing resolutions based on your deep product knowledge. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of the SAP BASIS Administration system. Roles \& Responsibilities: * Expected to perform independently and become an SME. * Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. * Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. * Provide technical support to clients and resolve their issues in a timely manner. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems. * Ensure the smooth operation of the SAP BASIS Administration system by monitoring performance and addressing any issues. * Proactively identify opportunities for system improvements and implement necessary changes. * Document and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations and troubleshooting guides. * HANA Backups Design using Azure Service vault and Snapshot mechanism * SAP HANA Administration * High Availability concepts * Responsible for performing technical tasks for a project like Installation and configuration of SAP NetWeaver, performing the SAP version upgrades for ABAP and Java, HANA Migration including all project activities. * Performing the activities like HRSP updates, kernel updates, Security notes, support pack updates, Service tools updates, HANA upgrades, and all kind of planned/unplanned outages. Must have skills : SAP Basis Administration Minimum 3 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Professional \& Technical Skills: * Must Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BASIS and HANA Administration. * Good To Have Skills: Experience on other SAP modules and cloud environments. * Strong understanding of SAP system architecture and components. * Experience in system installation, configuration, and maintenance. * Knowledge of SAP security and authorization concepts. * Familiarity with SAP transport management and system monitoring tools. * The candidate should have a minimum of 3 \- 1 year of experience in SAP BASIS Administration. * This position is based at our Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices. * A Graduate degree is required.
