Application Developer-SAP ABAP HANA

This Application Developer role at IBM focuses on SAP ABAP HANA development. You will design, develop, and support application solutions with a focus on the HANA version of Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP). Your responsibilities include designing, developing, and re-engineering highly complex application components while integrating software packages, programs, and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms. You will develop application solutions ensuring high-quality and efficient solutions that meet business requirements. The role requires leveraging ABAP Development Tools (ADT) and HANA Studio for data modeling and development. You will implement ABAP Core Data Services, Database Procedures, and Text Search for seamless data integration and management. Applying Code Performance Rules and Guidelines for SAP HANA is essential for optimizing performance and efficiency.

The ideal candidate must have 6-13 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred). Required expertise includes exposure to SAP ABAP HANA with experience designing, developing, and supporting application solutions. Knowledge of SAP HANA Technical Concept and Architecture including data modeling using HANA Studio is essential. Proficiency in ABAP Development Tools (ADT) and Code Performance Rules for SAP HANA is required. Understanding of data modeling and integration with ABAP Core Data Services, Database Procedures, and Text Search is necessary. Familiarity with HANA Live models consumption and ALV on HANA is required.
