AI Apprentice

Job Title: AI Apprentice Company: Siemens Healthineers Job Category: Machine Learning Roles & Responsibilities: We're looking for a curious, motivated AI Intern to join our team. This is a hands\-on role where you'll work alongside engineers and researchers on real AI/ML projects, from prototyping models to deploying them. Performs a structured vocational training in a specified technical functional area, with the intention of getting a recognized practical qualification.Job Description: * Final\-year or recently graduated student from a B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech program in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Electronics, or related fields * Solid programming foundation in Python; familiarity with Git * Hands\-on experience (coursework, projects, or hackathons) with at least one ML framework — PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit\-learn * Understanding of core ML concepts: supervised/unsupervised learning, neural networks, evaluation metrics, overfitting * Comfortable with data manipulation libraries — NumPy, Pandas * Strong problem\-solving skills and willingness to learn quickly * Good written and verbal communication * Experience working with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face) or building chatbots/RAG systems * Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or containerization (Docker) * Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, or LangChain / LlamaIndex * Open\-source contributions, Kaggle competitions, or a personal portfolio of AI projects * Research publications or coursework in NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning * Mentorship from experienced AI engineers and researchers * Exposure to real production systems and modern AI tooling Key Skills: Machine Learning, Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy, NLP, Computer Vision Salary: INR 672000 - 1.01e+06 per yearly
