AGM – SCM (Strategic Sourcing)

Job Title: AGM – SCM (Strategic Sourcing) Company: Talent Bridge Recruitment Job Category: SAP MM Roles & Responsibilities: To lead and manage strategic sourcing and procurement activities for the Railway Division, ensuring timely availability of materials, competitive cost, quality compliance, supplier development, and continuity of supply in line with project and manufacturing requirements. Key Responsibilities · Lead Strategic Sourcing, Procurement and Vendor Development for Railway projects and manufacturing requirements. · Develop and implement sourcing strategies for sheet metal, fabricated parts, machined components, electrical/electronic items, assemblies and other railway-specific materials. · Identify, evaluate and develop new suppliers, including alternate and local sources. · Manage RFQ, techno-commercial evaluation, negotiations, PO finalization and contract terms. · Develop and maintain a robust supplier base and alternate sourcing strategy to minimize supply-chain risks. · Monitor supplier performance through cost, quality, delivery and responsiveness parameters. · Lead strategic procurement for new projects and support NPD/Localization initiatives. · Manage critical supplier escalations and ensure timely resolution of supply issues. · Ensure adherence to procurement policies, commercial terms, documentation and compliance requirements. · Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering; MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain/Materials preferred. · Experience: 0-3 years in Strategic Sourcing / Procurement / SCM, preferably in Railway, Automotive, Engineering, Sheet Metal, Fabrication Odisha similar manufacturing industries. · Should have experience handling team, suppliers and high-value procurement portfolios. * Have you worked on Lead Strategic Sourcing, Procurement and Vendor Development for Railway projects and manufacturing requirements. * Have you lead the Team and do you have experience in strategic sourcing for at least 8 – 10 years * Do you have SAP / Oracle working experience * Do you have track record of savings on budgeted costs , please mention * what is your current and expected CTC * What is your notice period Key Skills: SAP MM, Procurement Salary: INR 2e+06 - 2.2e+06 per yearly
