Job Description
Key Responsibilities. SAP G Enterprise Applications Management. ERP Ownership: Serve as the primary custodian of the plants SAP application environment (SAP S/4HANA ), ensuring maximum uptime and data integrity. Module Alignment: Optimize SAP modules critical to manufacturing, specifically PP (Production Planning), MM (Materials Management), WM/EWM (Warehouse Management), QM (Quality Management)and PM (Plant Maintenance). Process Improvement: Partner with plant department heads (Production, Quality, Logistics) to map business requirements into efficient SAP workflows and custom configurations. Data G Reporting: Ensure seamless master data management and oversee the generation of plant KPIs using SAP analytics or integrated BI tools. Infrastructure, Network G Shop-Floor IT (OT). High-Availability Infrastructure: Design, maintain, and upgrade the plants physical and virtual infrastructure (Servers, Storage, Cloud/Hybrid environments, and Backup systems). Plant Connectivity: Manage robust LAN/WAN/WLAN architectures across the plant floor, office spaces, and warehouses to ensure uninterrupted data flow. OT/IT Convergence: Oversee the integration of traditional IT infrastructure with Operational Technology (OT) on the shop floor, including PLCs, SCADA systems, barcode scanners, and IoT devices. Disaster Recovery: Develop and enforce strict backup protocols and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) to minimize production downtime in the event of an outage. Security, Compliance G Governance. Cybersecurity: Implement and enforce corporate IT security policies, focusing heavily on protecting the production network from malware, ransomware, and unauthorized access. Asset Management: Manage the lifecycle of all hardware, software licenses, and IT assets across the facility. Technical Proficiencies:. Knowledge of core infrastructure: Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), firewalls, and industrial-grade networking (Cisco, HPE, etc.). Familiarity with manufacturing-specific technology like MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), PLCs, and barcode/RFID infrastructure.
