We are proudly part of Japan Post — www.tollgroup.com We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team and support payment processing, vendor reconciliations, audit requirements, and day-to-day Accounts Payable operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely service delivery. ### Key Responsibilities: * Prepare, validate, and process scheduled and ad-hoc payment runs accurately and within established timelines. * Review payment files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance before release. * Verify invoices against tax requirements, company policies, and supporting documentation. * Investigate and resolve payment rejections, discrepancies, and processing issues in a timely manner. * Perform vendor statement reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items. * Maintain accurate payment records and supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes. * Support internal and external audits by providing required documents, samples, and explanations. * Respond to vendor and internal stakeholder queries regarding payment status, remittances, and payment-related issues. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies, payment issues, and process blockers. ### Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. * 0-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance Operations is preferred. * Good understanding of basic accounting principles and Accounts Payable processes. * Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy and reconciliation skills. * Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage high transaction volumes and meet deadlines. * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with good written and spoken English.
