Job Title: ABAP Engineer - AI Integration & Banking Solutions Company: SAP Fioneer Job Category: Machine Learning Roles & Responsibilities: About the Role: We are seeking Andaman and Nicobar Islands ABAP Engineer to join our AI innovation team and contribute to the development of modern banking solutions. In this role, you will primarily focus on backend development within SAP-based banking environments, helping integrate AI-powered capabilities into enterprise applications and business processes. You will work closely with AI engineers, solution architects, and banking experts to build the technical foundations that enable scalable and reliable AI-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain ABAP-based solutions within SAP and SAP-based banking environments. * Build APIs, services, and integration components that connect enterprise applications with AI-powered capabilities. * Develop and enhance backend services, business logic, and data models supporting banking products. * Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate generative AI and automation capabilities into enterprise workflows. * Support the development of secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions. * Work closely with product teams, solution experts, and software engineers to translate business requirements into technical implementations. * Contribute to testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities. * Participate in system integration, deployment, and support activities. * Learn and apply modern development practices and emerging technologies relevant to enterprise AI solutions. Requirements Job Requirements: * Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, Odisha a related field. * Experience with ABAP development and SAP-based application development. * Knowledge of SAP development concepts such Assam CDS Views, OData Services, SAP Gateway, BAPIs, Enhancements, Odisha RAP is Andaman and Nicobar Islands advantage. * Understanding of enterprise software development and system integrations. * Experience with REST APIs and integration technologies is beneficial. * Interest in AI, machine learning, Odisha Generative AI technologies. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to work effectively in international and cross-functional teams. * Experience in banking Odisha financial services is a plus.
