SAP Basis HANA Consultant

This SAP Basis HANA Consultant role at Tech Mahindra involves managing SAP Basis tasks across HANA and Sybase environments. You will handle system refresh activities, SAP upgrades, and backup and recovery operations to ensure data integrity and system availability. Daily responsibilities include working with HANA replication and participating in SAP DR drill activities to validate disaster recovery readiness. Performance improvement is a key focus area requiring proactive monitoring and tuning. You will support PIPO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration) environments and collaborate with functional and technical teams to resolve issues. The role requires strong expertise in SAP HANA and Basis administration to maintain system health. The position offers a hybrid work model across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate must have 4-7 years of experience in SAP HANA and SAP Basis with expertise in SAP Sybase. Strong skills in PIPO, performance improvement, system refresh, SAP upgrade, backup and recovery, HANA replication, and DR drill activities are required. Any graduate degree is acceptable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
