SAP Basis Consultant

This SAP Basis + Security Consultant role at NTT DATA involves delivering end-to-end SAP Basis support across S/4HANA, Business Suite, EWM, and associated landscapes. You will perform system monitoring, performance tuning, transport management (ChaRM/CTMS), handle data growth analysis, security updates, deletion/partitioning, system refreshes, and upgrades. Daily responsibilities include managing SAP HANA with performance optimization and troubleshooting across ERP, BW, BW4HANA, driving incident and change management in line with ITIL practices, creating and maintaining shift rosters, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on infrastructure planning, HA/DR strategies. The role requires maintaining system documentation, providing RCA, and training junior consultants. The successful candidate will engage closely with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into robust, scalable solutions that support long-term organizational growth.

The ideal candidate must have 2-7 years of experience in SAP Basis with expertise in ABAP + Java Stack, Solution Manager, and HANA Administration. Strong hands-on with SAP installations, refreshes, upgrades, and patches is required. Any graduate degree is acceptable. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive, solutions-oriented approach, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines. A strong customer-first attitude and willingness to travel to client locations as needed will be an added advantage for this role.
