SAP Basis Consultant

This SAP Basis Consultant role at Technosys Consulting involves supporting SAP system monitoring and performance tuning activities, performing basic user administration tasks including role and authorisation management, and learning and assisting in system backups, patch applications, and disaster recovery processes. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving fundamental technical issues under the guidance of senior team members, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support SAP system requirements, maintaining system documentation, and providing technical support to SAP users. The role requires working in a shift-based environment to support 24/7 system operations with knowledge of database management systems and GRC authorization. The role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment, contributing to end-to-end project delivery and continuous process improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with basic understanding of SAP systems and their architecture. Any graduate degree is acceptable. Prior experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to internal knowledge repositories will also be viewed favorably. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
