Data Scientist I

The Data Scientist will own end-to-end data science projects from building models to deploying them, ensuring delivery of measurable business outcomes. The role involves working across lending, collections, KYC, UPI Growth, and Ads recommendation domains, applying advanced machine learning, deep learning, and GenAI techniques to solve high-impact challenges. Responsibilities include working with tabular, text, image, and speech data, applying cutting-edge techniques, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring robust model validation and monitoring, and contributing to a culture of learning and technical excellence. Strong emphasis is placed on model validation, thorough testing, and proactive issue resolution to ensure reliable, high-quality outputs across the organization.

Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering with strong Python and SQL skills. Proficiency in Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch. Strong understanding of ML/DL concepts, probability theory, optimization techniques, and statistical concepts. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Any Graduate qualification. Prior experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to internal knowledge repositories will also be viewed favorably. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
