Senior Workday Engineer (HR focus)

The Opportunity: We, at Flywire, are looking for a Workday Engineer, ideally with a background in FinTech. Primarily you will be responsible for design, development testing and deployment of various functionality using Workday core toolset. You will help drive our business transformation as we transition our process and tools for human capital management. You will be a key member of the engineering staff working across the organization to provide a friction-less experience to our customers. The ideal candidate has technical knowledge which includes Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Absence Management, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Peakon), integrations, PRISM, and People Analytics. They should have a strong understanding of cross-functional data flows ensuring HCM configurations align with downstream systems like ADP.

Heres what we are looking for: Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Finance, HR, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in Workday development, specifically supporting HRIS modules. Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into business-friendly language. A solid track record of developing in complex Workday environments, including business process configuration, security, and reporting. Proven experience managing bidirectional data handshakes and resolving ownership conflicts in complex Workday Environments. Data-driven decision-maker with experience in automation and an understanding of the interactions between people, processes, and systems.
