SAP ABAP Consultant

This SAP ABAP Consultant role at Bean HR Consulting demands deep expertise in ABAP Core, Object‑Oriented ABAP, and the ABAP Restful Programming Model (RAP). You will design and develop modern applications using CDS Views, AMDP, and OData Services, while also enhancing Fiori/UI5 applications. Daily responsibilities include working on Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, and SAPScript, as well as implementing enhancements (BADI, User Exits, Implicit/Explicit Enhancements). You will perform performance tuning using SQL trace and runtime analysis, and work with SAP Business Workflow. The role also involves SAP Authorization concepts and security. Experience in ECC to S/4HANA migration is required. Exposure to SAP BTP, Cloud Integration, CAP, and Side‑by‑Side Extensions is a plus.

The ideal candidate must have 6‑9 years of SAP ABAP experience with strong expertise in OO ABAP, RAP, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData. Hands‑on experience with Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, enhancements, performance tuning, and workflow is required. Knowledge of SAP Authorization and S/4 migration is essential. Familiarity with SAP BTP, CAP, and cloud integration is preferred. Any graduate degree is acceptable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional and offshore teams are expected.
