Lead Data Science Consultant

The Lead Data Science Consultant will lead advanced analytics initiatives, develop statistical models, mentor team members, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver insights for Consumer Lending portfolios. Responsibilities include leading complex initiatives using data-driven analytical techniques, reviewing and analyzing complex data sets, making decisions in complex situations, collaborating with peers and managers, executing analytical experiments, interpreting data, communicating insights, and driving best practices in analytics delivery. The successful candidate will engage closely with business stakeholders to translate analytical requirements into robust, production-ready data solutions that support long-term organizational growth. This position also involves supporting knowledge-sharing sessions, contributing to internal best-practice documentation, and helping to build a culture of continuous learning within the data science team.

5+ years of data science experience with expertise in Consumer Lending analytics. Strong proficiency in SQL and Python/R. Experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI. Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or related field. Any Graduate or Any Postgraduate. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive, solutions-oriented approach, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines. A strong customer-first attitude and willingness to travel to client locations as needed will be an added advantage for this role.
