Data Science Cloud Application Engineer

The Data Science Cloud Application Engineer will design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python and modern cloud platforms. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Python programming, REST API development, backend services, and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django. The engineer will build end-to-end application features across multiple layers, integrate applications with internal systems, enterprise platforms, APIs, databases, queues, cloud storage, compute services, and data pipelines, and deliver scalable, reliable, high-performance applications using modern frameworks and cloud-native architectures. The professional will play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making efforts, ensuring models and pipelines remain scalable, well-documented, and aligned with evolving business priorities.

6-10 years of experience in software application design, development, enhancement, and maintenance using Python and modern cloud platforms. Strong expertise in Python, REST API development, FastAPI/Flask/Django, and cloud-native architecture across GCP, AWS, or Azure. B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech qualification. Familiarity with change management practices and a track record of successful stakeholder engagement across diverse business units is preferred. Prior experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to internal knowledge repositories will also be viewed favorably. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
