Senior SAP BTP RAP CDS Consultant

This Senior SAP BTP RAP CDS Consultant role at EY involves collaborating with functional teams to convert business needs into technical solutions using SAP RAP (managed/unmanaged scenarios). You will develop applications and APIs using SAP RAP, convert legacy applications, and create/enhance CDS views with UI and analytical annotations. Daily responsibilities include building and testing OData services using RAP, supporting development of SAP Fiori elements/SAPUI5 applications, performing unit testing, debugging, and performance improvements. You will lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, support Level 3 incidents and enhancements, and stay updated with the latest trends in SAP RAP, ABAP Cloud, and related technologies. The role requires working independently, as part of a team, and leading the team.

The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with strong SAP ABAP on HANA and OO ABAP skills. Expertise in SAP RAP fundamentals (BOs, behavior definitions, service binding), CDS Views & Annotations, OData services, and Clean Core & Cloud ready development concepts is required. Experience with SAP Business Application Studio for Fiori Elements/SAPUI5 is essential. SAP BTP/ABAP Cloud/RAP Certification is preferred. Any graduate or postgraduate degree is acceptable. A collaborative mindset, willingness to mentor junior team members, and adaptability to changing business needs are highly valued for this role.
