Job Description
This SAP BASIS Administrator role at Bauer Corporate Services involves monitoring and supporting SAP on-premise and cloud landscapes with a focus on system availability, performance, jobs, interfaces, and daily operations. You will perform routine SAP Basis administration tasks including client and user-related support, transport monitoring, job monitoring, and spool management. Daily responsibilities include supporting the execution of standard maintenance activities such as SAP Notes and system checks, and monitoring SAP cloud tenants in the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). You will assist in the administration of SAP BTP subaccounts, services, and technical configurations as part of day-to-day cloud operations.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have a Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field with first practical experience in SAP Basis Administration through a junior role or internship. Basic understanding of complex SAP system landscapes, monitoring, transports, background jobs, and user administration is required. B.Tech/B.E. in IT is preferred. Prior experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to internal knowledge repositories will also be viewed favorably. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
