Sap Abap Consultant

Publicis Resources is hiring a SAP ABAP Consultant for a hybrid role spanning Gurugram, Pune, and Bengaluru, focused on support and incident management rather than greenfield development. You will own issue resolution for the Readsoft Cockpit invoice processing tool alongside core SAP ABAP support, handling reports, interfaces, enhancements, and conversions as they arise in production. ALE and IDOC troubleshooting is a regular part of the workload, since interface failures are a common source of support tickets in this environment. Familiarity with the Procure-to-Pay cycle is essential, as much of the incident volume ties back to procurement processes, and integration with AP Essentials adds a further layer to how support tickets are diagnosed.

This position requires 3-5 years of SAP ABAP experience with specific exposure to Readsoft Cockpit support, since incident management for this tool is a core part of daily responsibilities. Hands-on knowledge of BADI, BAPI, and Data Dictionary objects is needed for enhancement and troubleshooting work. Familiarity with SAP Script, OOPS-based ABAP, and LSMW for data conversions is expected. Candidates should be comfortable debugging production issues under time pressure, given the support-focused nature of the role. Understanding of the Procure-to-Pay cycle and SAP transport processes is essential, as is prior exposure to AP Essentials integration scenarios.
