Job Description
This Junior SAP BASIS Administrator role at Emagine involves handling BAU activities and managing our diverse SAP landscape. You will have at least 2 years of technical expertise administering SAP systems hosted in AWS or Azure and have experience managing SAP on Linux as well as exposure to SAP HANA and SAP ASE (Sybase). Daily responsibilities include handling BAU SAP Basis activities like system copies (SAP Refreshes), system monitoring, troubleshooting, configurations, patching, troubleshooting and resolving L1/L2 technical incidents, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support SAP projects, performing system health checks, and applying support packages, kernel upgrades, DB patches, and security patches.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of technical expertise administering SAP systems hosted in AWS or Azure and have experience managing SAP on Linux as well as exposure to SAP HANA and SAP ASE (Sybase). Any graduate or postgraduate degree is acceptable. Prior experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to internal knowledge repositories will also be viewed favorably. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
