Job Summary: SS GOLD INDUSTRIES PVT LTD is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Research Assistant with proficiency in reading and writing Chinese. The ideal candidate will assist in researching products from China, ensuring accurate and comprehensive data collection and analysis. This role involves collaborating with suppliers, translating documents, and supporting the procurement team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough research on products from Chinese markets.
• Translate product specifications, manuals, and other documents from Chinese to English and vice versa.
• Communicate with Chinese suppliers to gather product information and negotiate terms.
• Analyze market trends and provide insights to the procurement team.
• Maintain accurate records of research findings and supplier communications.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations.
• Support the procurement team in sourcing and evaluating new products.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and international trade regulations.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in a research or procurement role.
• Proficiency in reading and writing Chinese (Mandarin).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience in international trade or procurement.
• Familiarity with Chinese market trends and business practices.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
