Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Arabic Typist and Translator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately typing documents in Arabic and translating written material between Arabic and English. The ideal candidate will have strong language skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in both Arabic and English.

Key Responsibilities:
• Type and format documents, correspondence, reports, and other materials in Arabic.
• Use word processing software to ensure accurate and efficient typing.
• Translate written content from Arabic to English and vice versa.
• Maintain the original meaning, style, and tone of the source text.
• Proofread and edit translated texts to ensure accuracy and readability.
• Collaborate with colleagues to clarify context or terminology during translation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding translation projects.
• Ensure translations comply with linguistic standards, cultural sensitivity, and specific industry requirements.
• Maintain organized files of translated documents and reference materials.
• Track project progress and maintain accurate records of completed translations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Arabic and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Proven experience as an Arabic typist and translator, with a portfolio of past work demonstrating accuracy and quality.
• Familiarity with Arabic typing software and word processing tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred but not required
