Position Overview: The German Language Trainer will be responsible for delivering comprehensive German language training to students, preparing them to successfully pass the TELC Board of German Exam. The trainer will also collaborate with German clients to develop and refine course modules, ensuring the curriculum meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver German Language Training:

○ Provide intensively structured and engaging language instruction to students.
○ Utilize various teaching methodologies to accommodate different learning styles.
○ Prepare students thoroughly to pass the TELC Board of German Exam.
○ Monitor and assess students’ progress and provide feedback.

2. Course Module Development:

○ Collaborate with German clients to devise and update course modules.
○ Ensure the curriculum aligns with TELC standards and student needs.

3. Administrative and Support Duties:

○ Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
○ Assist in the preparation of training materials and resources.

4. Student Support:

○ Provide one-on-one support and tutoring as needed.
○ Address student inquiries and concerns promptly.
○ Encourage and motivate students to achieve their learning goals.

Requirements:

● Certification in German language proficiency (e.g., TELC, Goethe-Institut) is highly desirable.
● Proven experience in teaching German as a foreign language.
● Strong knowledge of the TELC Board of German Exam requirements.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to develop and adapt curriculum based on client and student needs.
● Proficiency in using educational technology and multimedia resources.
● Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching.
● Experience in course module development and instructional design.
● Familiarity with online teaching platforms and e-learning tools.
