Job Summary:
The Human Resources Manager at H Power Engineering will lead the HR function and support the operational and strategic objectives of the foundry. This role encompasses employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compliance, training, and development, ensuring a productive and compliant workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Talent Management:
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract skilled workers and management staff.
• Conduct interviews, selection processes, and onboarding.
• Manage workforce planning and succession planning.
Employee Relations:
• Foster a positive workplace environment through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.
• Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and fairly.
• Oversee disciplinary procedures and manage conflict resolution.
Performance Management:
• Implement performance appraisal systems and processes.
• Support managers in setting goals and conducting performance reviews.
• Identify and address performance issues, providing coaching and development plans.
Training and Development:
• Assess training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
• Coordinate with external training providers and manage internal training sessions.
• Promote continuous learning and professional development.
Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with the safety department to maintain a safe working environment.
HR Administration:
• Oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, and HRIS maintenance.
• Manage employee records and ensure data accuracy.
• Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.
Strategic HR Planning:
• Partner with senior management to align HR strategies with business goals.
• Monitor HR metrics and provide insights to drive decision-making.
• Lead initiatives to improve organizational culture and employee engagement.
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Skills:
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications & google workspace.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Working Conditions:
• The role is based in a foundry environment which may include exposure to heat, noise, and industrial hazards.
• Occasional travel may be required for recruitment, training, or other HR-related activities.
