The HR Manager will play a crucial role in managing the human resources functions at Royal Import and Export. This includes overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Manage the entire recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth integration of new employees.
Employee Relations:
Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and address them promptly and effectively.
Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through team-building activities and engagement initiatives.
Implement policies that promote employee well-being and satisfaction.
Performance Management:
Develop and implement performance management systems to evaluate employee performance.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant programs.
Compliance and Record-Keeping:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
Oversee the administration of employee benefits and compensation programs.
HR Strategy and Planning:
Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Lead initiatives to enhance employee retention and reduce turnover.
Training and Development:
Assess training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities for staff.
Create and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree or HR certification is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management.
Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
