Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team with a specialized focus on Centre Operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing HR activities while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of our insert specific type of centre, e.
g., "training centre," "business centre," etc. . This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of balancing HR responsibilities with operational management to support our organization’s growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
HR Responsibilities :
• Recruitment & Onboarding :
• Manage end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
• Conduct employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
• Employee Relations :
• Act as a point of contact for employee queries and grievances, providing appropriate support and resolution.
• Implement and monitor compliance with HR policies and procedures.
• Performance Management :
• Assist in developing performance management processes and systems.
• Facilitate employee evaluations, provide feedback, and manage performance improvement plans.
• Training & Development :
• Identify training needs and coordinate relevant programs to enhance employee skills.
• Collaborate with department heads to implement employee development initiatives.
• Compensation & Benefits :
• Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
• Manage employee benefits administration and resolve related issues.
• HR Reporting :
• Maintain HR metrics, analyze trends, and provide reports to management.
• Ensure the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) is up-to-date with employee data.
Centre Operations Responsibilities :
• Operations Management :
• Oversee daily operations of the centre, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
• Coordinate with facility management for maintenance, cleanliness, and safety protocols.
• Resource Allocation :
• Manage the allocation of resources, including staffing, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure that the centre has the necessary resources to meet its operational goals.
• Customer Service :
• Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained within the centre.
• Address and resolve any issues that arise, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Compliance :
• Ensure that the centre operates in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Centre Management :
• Assist in managing the centre’s Operation, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Monitor expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Employee Management.
• Drafting etc.
Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. MBA Preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in an HR role, with at least 2 year focused on operations.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and resolve conflicts.
• Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications :
• Experience in managing operations within a centre or facility environment.
• Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
Working Conditions :
• Primarily office-based with occasional travel to other centres if required.
• May require extended hours during peak periods.
