Business: Piramal Pharma Solutions Department: Human Resources Location: Pithampur Travel: Low Job Overview The incumbent will have overall responsibility for managing personnel and their evaluation, development, recruitment, wages & salary administration and adherence to legal compliances for the site. They will act as a strategic partner in creating a competent and engaged workforce through various HR initiatives and driving business through manpower acquisition and retention. Key Stakeholders: Internal Plant Leadership Team, Function Heads, Support Services Heads and all Management Staff Key Stakeholders: External Vendors, Statutory Agencies, Government Departments and HR Consultants Reporting Structure Functional Reporting: General Manager HR, India Sites & Employee Relations COE Head; Administrative Reporting: Site Head Experience - 15-20 years of overall experience as Plant HR in medium/large manufacturing unit. ER exposure in a unionized environment and knowledge of labour laws/amendments will be added advantage - Proficiency in HR elements and managing employee and labor relations - Experience in Union management, handling large scale recruitments, leading Diversity at Plants, Cultural transformation, exposure to employee engagement beneficial Competencies - Good listener with sound analytical mind. - Leadership and Team building skills. - Expertise in all labor laws and the new labor codes - Ability to deal with multiple labor unions, contract labor management team and senior leadership - Analytical ability with an eye for detail to analyze and understand compliance - Excellent communication skills to aid negotiations - Assertiveness for taking strong legal stands in case of any challenges - Demonstrate high levels of ethics, ownership & accountability
